Whiskey in the Jar
Wednesday, February 28th, 2007
I love this month’s colors! I chose to knit Nancy Bush’s Spey Valley socks with my Forecast yarn. Spey Valley is a pattern inspired by a famous whiskey-producing region, and I couldn’t resist the connection even though my whiskey of choice is Knob Creek. I’ve been listening to Irish drinking songs every day for weeks, so altogether I have an Irish-Scottish-Kentuckian whiskey-related convergance going on here. Fun stuff.
Note, I’m not actually drinking in the middle of the afternoon, just taking a photo. I save my wild consumption 3 teaspoons for evening when I’m not alone with the kids.
