Snow Squall
Monday, May 12th, 2008I’m so far behind in posting about my spinning! I looked through and it doesn’t look like I’ve talked about January, so here it is (and just ignore me if I have, and didn’t think that I have; I’ll lay the blame on a lack of coffee).
130 yards/98 grams (2-ply)
I had never worked with Icelandic Wool before, and I really liked it. So did my cats! This is the first fiber that they have tried to carry off. I divided it in half, and half was in the basket on the table next to me while I was spinning. Two of my five cats kept trying to climb in the basket and either roll in or walk off with the fiber. They did this two or three times each before I finally moved it into another room and shut the door. Seriously, they’ve never treated any of my other fibers this way! It was funny, but also a little creepy after a while.
BTW, like everyone else has said, I loved working with this fiber. I would love to see it make another rotation through the club sometime!

Febuary and March
Thursday, May 8th, 2008I finally managed to upload the pictures of my ThinkSpringBedsocks. Not my colors at all but incredibly warm and comfortable!

And I’ve spun up my MudSeason too!
