- About the mug:
This is a handbuilt terracotta mug. My little hands have formed and created each individual one. More so than my wheel thrown mugs and cups, these are really individual because of that. These are exactly what they are and they are perfect in every way that any hand made item is meant to be. It's got 3 well placed stable feet. If you use a mug warmer, even though the bottom of the mug is up off the warmer, it still keeps your drink warm!
The design is textured on the bottom and a smoother glaze on the top half and inside.
Holds approximately 10 ounces of tea, coffee, whiskey.... whatever you want! No judging.
Food Safe
Microwave and dishwasher safe - HOWEVER! - the gold will turn black or wear off faster if you use the microwave or the dishwasher. This is the same type of gold as you see on old china teacups.
Everything is hand made so please allow for variation.
