You will get an exchange or a refund less the shipping costs. Equipment has a 10% restocking fee. Unless it's my fault or the fault of a company that I carry. Then we'll work out all the details.

Layaway: I know wheels and looms are expensive and sometimes a layaway program is the best way to get one. Layaway basically is a payment plan that we set up so that on a certain tme table you send payment and after the last payment is made, the item is yours. Contact me and we'll discuss a layaway payment option that works for you.

WPI guide:

WPI Type of Yarn YPP
8 or less Super Bulky 400-500
10 Bulky 600-800
12 Worsted 900-1200
14 Sport/DK 1200-1800
16 Fingering 1800-2400
18+ Lace 2500+

WPI = Wraps per inch

YPP = Yards per pound

What can I make?:
Using generalizations again
4 ounces = hat, socks, mittens
8 ounces = small vest, baby sweater, scarf, lace shawl
12 ounces = vest, child's sweater, large shawl
1 pound = small sweater, large vest
1.5 pounds = Womens large size sweater

If you want to make something using a pattern that you already have take a look at the yardage requirements and the type of yarn that it is. Let's say it's a sweater using worsted weight. You need to make a 42 inch size and it requires 1600 yards of yarn. If you see above that you can at most make 1200 yards with one pound of wool and you need 400 more yards than that. I would buy 1.5 lbs or possible 2 lbs so that I had room to play.
